“The Tyra Banks Show” Bought By The Fox Television Stations For Fall 2005 Launch
(January 24, 2005 — Las Vegas, NV) - “The Tyra Banks Show” has been sold to the Fox Television Station group for a fall 2005 launch and officially declared a “firm go,” it was announced today by Frank Cicha, Vice President, Programming, Fox Television Stations Inc. and Jim Paratore, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution and President, Telepictures Productions.
“The Tyra Banks Show” will run on the Fox stations in the following markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Phoenix, St. Louis,Cleveland, Orlando, Baltimore, Birmingham, Memphis, Greensboro and Austin.
These clearances join the series’ already announced sales in Denver (KMGH-TV), Portland (OR) (KGW-TV), San Diego (KGTV-TV), Charlotte (WCCB-TV), Nashville (WZTV-TV/WUPN-TV), Milwaukee (WDJT-TV/WMLW-TV), Las Vegas (KTUD-TV) and Flint (WNEM-TV), among others, bringing the series’ national clearance to more than 70% of the country.
