Debut Single From The WB’s "Popstars" Group Eden's Crush In Stores Now
(March 16, 2001 – Burbank, CA) — The first single from Eden’s Crush, the newly created vocal group starring on The WB reality series “POPSTARS,” is available in stores this week. The song, titled “Get Over Yourself,” has generated No. 1 phone requests at New York radio station Z100 and an impressive 66,422 downloads on America Online over a four-day period.
The commercial single includes both vocal and instrumental versions of "Get Over Yourself," which viewers might recognize as the show's opening theme music, as well as a Spanish-language version and personal messages from the members of Eden's Crush: Ana Maria Lombo, Maile Misajon, Nicole Scherzinger, Ivette Sosa and Rosanna Tavarez.
Selected by a committee of music industry professionals from thousands of hopefuls, Eden’s Crush is in the midst of recording their debut CD with 14-time Grammy Award winner David Foster serving as executive producer. The disc is slated for release on May 1 on London-Sire Records, in association with Foster's 143 Records, both Warner Music Group companies.
Backed by some of the hottest producers and songwriters in the music business, the women of Eden's Crush spend their days in the recording studio, at advanced vocal training sessions, grueling dance rehearsals and publicity photo shoots. The entire process is documented on the show that airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET on The WB. The final episode, slated to air as a one-hour special on April 6 (8:30-9:30 p.m. ET), brings the season to a dramatic close with their first live concert performance.
“POPSTARS” is a Stone Stanley Entertainment Production.
Direct Management Group, Inc., is consulting Stone/Stanley on all music aspects of the series, overseeing the formation, development and marketing of the group. Doug Brown with Millennium Management will manage Eden's Crush.

London-Sire's current roster includes All Saints, Pet Shop Boys, Mandy Barnett, Guster and Morcheeba.
143 Records was founded in 1995 by Grammy-winning producer and songwriter David Foster. 143 Records is a joint venture with Warner Music Group. Artists signed to 143 include The Corrs, Plus ONE, Beth Hart and YveAdam. # # #
