Jeff Zeitz Named Vice President, Business Systems Planning, Warner Bros. Pictures International

(October 28, 2004 – Burbank, CA) – Jeff Zeitz has been named Vice President, Business Systems Planning, Warner Bros. Pictures International. The announcement was made today by Angelina Speare, Executive Vice President, Operations and Finance, Warner Bros. Pictures International. Continuing to report to Speare, Zeitz will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all the division’s systems initiatives. In this role, he will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve business process through systems initiatives. He will continue to collaborate with senior management to help establish project priorities as well as act as a liaison to the Warner Bros. Studios MIS team to ensure the division is aligned with corporate standards, initiatives and policies. “Since Jeff re-joined our division a little over a year ago, he has been instrumental in moving our systems initiatives forward by restructuring and upgrading our international distribution information system – one of the most significant system initiatives in the past 20 years of the division. Jeff has terrific relationships within our division and throughout the company and we are pleased to have him as a very central part of our team,” said Speare. Most recently, Zeitz served as Director, Business Systems Planner (BSP), Operations & Finance, Warner Bros. Pictures International. He re-joined the division after he successfully led a project team for Warner Bros. Common Financial Initiative (CFI). On CFI, Jeff managed a team that developed the process and the functional design for all CFI Interface and Conversions for the studio’s first wave release. Prior to his work with CFI, Zeitz served as Director of Business Systems Planning for Warner Bros. International Theatres, during which he supported the division’s efforts worldwide with an emphasis in Japan, where he successfully implemented a new integrated financial system. During this time, Zeitz served as the key business liaison between the Burbank Home Office, the division’s Japan-based operations team and their joint venture partners. Zeitz joined Warner Bros. Pictures International in 1998 as a Systems Manager helping to manage and develop business solutions for the finance and accounting department. During this time he wrote and developed programs to help streamline business processes, and additionally, was part of the team that implemented the new accounting and distribution systems in the division’s joint operations in Chile and Peru.
