Kids’ WB!’s Spring Schedule Is Highlighted By Themed Weekday Programming, Pokémon Two-Parters And Original Weekend Episodes
(April 11, 2000 – Burbank, CA) - Kids’ WB!’s spring schedule is highlighted by themed weekday programming, “Pokémon” two-parters and original episodes on Saturday mornings.
This week, April 10-14, “Pokémon” (7:00 a.m./ET), will be highlighted with Charmander themed episodes for “Charmander Week.” The themed excitement will continue into the afternoon with “The New Batman/Superman Adventures,” “Starstruck Week” at 3:30 p.m., featuring rock-stars, newscasters and various additional celebrities.
On Saturday, April 15, Kids’ WB! will be highlighted with a two-part “Pokémon” episode, “Lights, Camera, Action” (8:30 a.m./ET), in which Ash and the gang make a movie, and “Go West, Young Meowth” (9:00 a.m./ET), in which the gang travels to Hollywood to attend their movie’s premiere. The Saturday morning lineup also will conclude with original episodes of “Pokémon” at 10:00 a.m./ET and “Batman Beyond” (10:30 a.m./ET).
Throughout the week of April 17-21, Kids’ WB! will explode with “Pokémon” “Maximum Voltage Week,” featuring Pikachu every morning at 7:00 a.m./ET. The afternoon lineup will feature “The New Batman/Superman Adventures,” “Bad Boys Of Gotham Week” (3:30 p.m.) including Clayface, Mad Hatter and Bane.
On Saturday, April 22 the weekend lineup will feature a haunting two-part “Pokémon” episode, beginning with “The Tower of Terror” (8:30 a.m./ET) featuring Ash attempting to capture a ghost Pokémon. The two-parter concludes with “Haunter vs. Kadabra” (9:00 a.m./ET) in which Ash will need the help of his ghost Pokémon to save his friends. The morning lineup also will include all-new episodes of “Max Steel” (9:30 a.m./ET) and “Pokémon” (10:00 a.m./ET).
During the week of April 24-28, “Pokémon” “Patch ‘Em Up Week” will highlight the weekday mornings at 7:00 a.m./ET. Beginning on Monday April 24–Thursday April 28, “The New Batman/Superman Adventures” will feature “the man of steel” at 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the themed “Superman Cliffhangers Week,” bringing Superman face-to-face with Lex Luthor, Mala and Lobo. On Friday, April 28, a “Superman” three part episode will begin at 3:30 p.m., “The Last Son of Krypton – Part 1,” and continue at 4:30 p.m. with “The Last Son of Krypton – Part 2.” The conclusion of the three parter, “The Last Son of Krypton – Part 3,” will air on Saturday, April 29 at 8:00 a.m./ET. # # #
