(August 23, 2001 – Burbank, CA) - Kids’ WB! celebrates the back-to-school time and the start of the new fall season with its “3rd Annual Pokémon Countdown” beginning Monday, September 3 during the weekday line-up. The Pokémon countdown will include episodes featuring the top 15 Pokémon characters voted on by kids with the final four revealed on Saturday, September 8. For three weeks in July, more than one million votes were cast online as kids across the country chose their favorite Pokémon characters. During the week of September 3-8, the countdown will air on Monday-Friday (3:30-4:30 p.m.) with a bonus episode on Friday (4:30-5:00 p.m.). On Saturday, the top four Pokémon will be unveiled at 8:30 a.m. ET, 9:30 a.m. ET, 10:00 a.m. ET and 11:30 a.m. ET. In addition to the four “Pokémon” “countdown” episodes, a bonus original “Pokémon” episode will jump-start the Saturday morning line-up at 8:00 a.m. ET, along with episodes of the new 3D-CGI animated series “Cubix” (10:30 a.m. ET) and the teenage mutant team “X-Men: Evolution” (11:00 a.m. ET). An original bonus rush half-hour episode of “Jackie Chan Adventures” also will air during the “Top 15 Pokémon Countdown” on Saturday, September 8, at 9:00 a.m. ET. This “must see” episode appeals to Jackie fans of all ages as the young Jackie and today’s Jackie come face-to-face in a thrilling-fun adventure. The episode, entitled “Through the Rabbit Hole,” features Jade going back to the 1970s and meeting up with her Uncle Jackie and Valmont as kids. When a freak accident causes a “rabbit hole” in time, Shendu uses the opportunity to try and eliminate the threat of Jackie while he is still a child. Jackie must transport himself back in time to save Jade, as well as himself…or vanish from existence.
