Pop Singing Sensation Nelly Furtado Performs Her Hit Single “I’m Like A Bird” On “Roswell”

(May 3, 2001 – Burbank, CA) — Singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado shakes things up when she makes a guest appearance as herself on “ROSWELL” on Monday, May 7 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET). Furtado’s debut album “Whoa Nelly!” was released last September and has received critical raves. She performed last month on VH1’s “Divas Live” with such music greats as Aretha Franklin, Jill Scott, Mary J. Blige, Kid Rock and Marc Anthony. In the episode entitled “Baby, It’s You,” Liz (Shiri Appleby), Maria (Majandra Delfino) and Michael (Brendan Fehr) discover that instead of being in Sweden, Alex (Colin Hanks) had actually been holed up at the local University searching for, and ultimately discovering, the secrets needed to send the aliens back home.
