Stations In Los Angeles And Chicago Buy “The Caroline Rhea Show” For Fall 2002 Bringing National Clearance To 64%

Domestic Television Distribution has sold “The Caroline Rhea Show,” the continuation of the talk/variety franchise created and established by Rosie O’Donnell and Telepictures Productions, to KCAL-TV (Los Angeles) and WCIU-TV (Chicago), bringing the series’ national clearance to 64%, it was announced today by Dick Robertson, President, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. These clearances join the series’ previously announced clearance on eight of the ABC Owned & Operated stations, as well as stations in more than a dozen key markets. Retaining the proven format of its predecessor and tailored to showcase Caroline’s unique and accessible point of view and comedic style, “The Caroline Rhea Show” will bring viewers everything they’ve come to expect and love as Rosie passes the baton to Caroline. The series will embody all of the traditions and high production values that made “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” a success and an Emmy Award winner season after season, including fun and revealing celebrity interviews, audience interaction, comedic sketches and humorous and heartwarming human-interest stories. “The Caroline Rhea Show” is produced by Travail D’Amour Productions, Inc. in association with Telepictures Productions and is distributed by Warner Bros.
