Warner Bros. Television’s Adrienne Turner Promoted To Director, Current Programs
(April 3, 2002 – Burbank, CA) – Adrienne Turner has been promoted to Director, Current Programs for Warner Bros. Television it was announced today by Melinda Hage, Vice President, Current Programs, WBTV, to whom she will continue to report.
Turner has served as Manager of Current Programs at Warner Bros. Television since 1999 when she joined the company. She has been the current executive on the extremely successful show “Friends” since August of 1999 and has also worked on the WB series “Gilmore Girls” and “Maybe It’s Me” since their respective first seasons.
“Adrienne is an outstanding current executive, whose talent and terrific instincts make her an invaluable part of our team,” said Hage. “Her strong relationships with our producers and the network executives are significant to the success of our division.”
Turner came to Warner Bros. Television from Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions, where she served as assistant to “Friends” executive producer David Crane for three years. She began her television career as a production assistant on “Friends” in 1995, shortly after her graduation from UCLA. # # #
