Warner Bros. Television Establishes New Business AffairsManagement Team

(January 23, 2012 – Burbank, CA) — Warner Bros. Television has re-organized its business affairs management team with a series of promotions and new assignments for three of its key executives serving both the Warner Bros. Television and Warner Horizon Television production units: Adam Glick has been promoted and tapped for a newly created Executive Vice President position at Warner Horizon Television, Dan Limerick has been promoted to serve as sole head of business affairs at Warner Bros. Television, and Carlos Williams will move into a new Senior Vice President position at Warner Bros. Television. The announcement was made today by Peter Roth, President, Warner Bros. Television; Brett Paul, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Television, who oversees both divisions’ business and production operations; and Craig Erwich, Executive Vice President, Warner Horizon Television.
    • In the newly created role of Executive Vice President, Business Affairs, Warner Horizon Television, Adam Glick will oversee all business affairs operations of the rapidly growing WHTV division, with 10 current series — including unscripted programs The Voice for NBC, The Bachelor franchise (“The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor Pad”) for ABC and “Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew” for MTV, as well as scripted dramas “Rizzoli & Isles” and the forthcoming “Dallas” for TNT, “Pretty Little Liars” and “The Lying Game” for ABC Family and the upcoming “Longmire” for A&E — and a robust slate of projects in development. Immediately prior to Glick’s being named to this post, Glick and Limerick were both Senior Vice Presidents and shared the position as Co-Head of Business Affairs at WBTV.
“I couldn’t be happier to have Adam join us at Warner Horizon Television,” said Erwich. “He has clearly become one of the industry’s top studio business affairs executives, and the combination of his skill set and extraordinary relationships in the industry will be invaluable as he lends WHTV his advice and counsel and leads the business affairs team in a time of real growth for this division.”
    • Limerick has been promoted to his new role as Executive Vice President, Business Affairs, Warner Bros. Television, and will oversee all business affairs operations for one of the television industry’s largest suppliers of primetime programming to the broadcast network and cable marketplace. WBTV is currently producing nearly 30 series, including comedies such as “2 Broke Girls,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “The Middle,” “Mike & Molly,” “Suburgatory” and “Two and a Half Men,” as well as dramas such as “Alcatraz,” “The Closer,” “Fringe,” “Gossip Girl,” “Harry’s Law,” “The Mentalist,” “Person of Interest,” “Supernatural” and “The Vampire Diaries,” among many others. Limerick most recently served as Senior Vice President and Co-Head (with Glick) of Business Affairs at WBTV. Limerick will now solely manage the day-to-day operations of WBTV’s business affairs unit — which is responsible for negotiating all of the company’s deals with performers, producers, writers and directors for its programming — and will oversee the department’s staff.
“Both Dan and Adam have distinguished themselves as supremely effective negotiators who have represented Warner Bros. Television with distinction and integrity,” said Paul. “It is with great pleasure that we are announcing Dan’s promotion to Executive Vice President, Business Affairs, at WBTV, where he will operate as that department’s sole head and lead the finest and most effective group of business affairs executives in our industry.” In addition to new roles for both Glick and Limerick, the following announcement was made:
    • Carlos Williams has been named Senior Vice President, Business Affairs, at Warner Bros. Television. He comes to WBTV after serving as Senior Vice President, Business Affairs, at Warner Horizon Television. In this new role, he will manage negotiations and other business affairs activities for key series and producers, acting as the WBTV business affairs department’s sole SVP and serving as a key member of the business affairs team.
“Carlos has been instrumental to the growth of Warner Horizon Television over the past three years, and I know he will be equally successful in his new role at WBTV,” said Erwich. Paul added, “One of the hallmarks of Warner Bros. has been the ability to provide great career opportunities for outstanding executives who have distinguished themselves, while at the same time serving the needs of the company, and we couldn’t be happier to reward Carlos’ performance at Warner Horizon Television with his new responsibilities at WBTV.” Glick joined WBTV as Director, Business Affairs, in 1999, before being promoted to Vice President in 2002, Senior Vice President in 2005 and Co-Head of Business Affairs in 2008. Glick has served as the company’s principal business affairs negotiator for the WBTV-based Fake Empire, Jerry Bruckheimer Television, Bill Lawrence, Michael Patrick King, Bruno Heller and Greg Berlanti, among others. In his career, he has spearheaded negotiations on hit series such as “2 Broke Girls,” “The Mentalist” and “The Vampire Diaries,” as well as “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” “Without a Trace,” “Cold Case” and more. Before coming to the studio, Glick was Director, Legal & Music Business Affairs, at The Carsey/Werner Company, LLC. He began his career as a legal intern in the U.S. Attorney’s Office and was an associate at the firm of Pregerson, Richman & Luna. Glick is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Southern California School of Law. Limerick has been the business affairs point person and lead negotiator for a number of WBTV’s highest-profile producers, including J.J. Abrams, Chuck Lorre, The Shephard/Robin Company, James Duff, and Tom Werner’s company, Werner Entertainment, among others. During his tenure at WBTV, he has served as the company’s business affairs representative for or overseen series such as “Two and a Half Men,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “Mike & Molly,” “Person of Interest,” “Fringe” and “Alcatraz,” among others. Limerick joined WBTV in 2002 as Director of Business Affairs and was promoted to Vice President in 2004, Senior Vice President in 2007 and Co-Head of Business Affairs in 2008. Before that, he served as Director, Business Affairs, at independent television production company Carsey-Werner-Mandabach, LLC. Before joining Carsey-Werner, Limerick was a litigation associate at the Los Angeles-based law firm Arter & Hadden, LLP. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the UCLA School of Law. Williams joined the studio in 2009 as Senior Vice President, Business Affairs, Warner Horizon Television. For nearly three years, he has overseen business affairs for all of WHTV’s scripted and unscripted programming and supervised the division’s business affairs staff. Before coming to WHTV, Williams spent nine years at The Walt Disney Company. Immediately prior to joining WHTV, he served as Vice President and Head of Business Affairs for Stage 9 Digital Media, Disney’s original content digital studio, where his responsibilities also included operations management as well as assisting in the development of branded programming, sponsorship and other related advertising for Stage 9 content. Prior to Stage 9, he served two years as Vice President, Business Affairs, for the ABC Television Network, and four years at ABC Studios (formerly Touchstone Television), rising to Vice President of Business Affairs. Williams began his entertainment career in the Legal Affairs department at ABC, first as an attorney and then as counsel. Before joining Disney, Williams was an associate at the prestigious Paul, Hastings, Janosfky & Walker law firm, based in Los Angeles. A member of the California Bar Association, Williams earned his juris doctor from the University of Michigan Law School. He graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor of arts in political science. Williams also attended Brown University for two years.
