Kids’ WB! And XOW! Offer Kids The Interactive Experience-Of-A-Lifetime In The Kids’ WB! Make A Mini Mucha Movie Contest

(July 11, 2005 - Burbank, CA) – On Saturday, July 16, Kids’ WB!, the #1 broadcast network for kids, and XOW!, the groundbreaking provider of visual and communication art products for the masses, are teaming up with award-winning studio Warner Bros. Animation’s "¡MUCHA LUCHA!," for the interactive experience-of-a-lifetime this summer during the Kids’ WB! Make A Mini Mucha Movie Contest. Providing kids with the high-tech tools to spark their imagination and get creative, Kids’ WB! and XOW! will offer kids the opportunity to create a mucha-masterpiece with the innovative Xipster FreeStyle animation software. Allowing kids to learn the basics of movie making and get totally involved in the start-to-finish process of creating their very own animated mini-movie, the national summer initiative will showcase every participating project, showing off the works of art and creative talents of each kid. Kids’ WB! Make A Mini Mucha Movie Contest also will present five lucky Grand Prize winners with the opportunity to display their very own personally created animated mini-movies on television during the Kids’ WB! Aftertoons Show, which airs during the network’s Monday through Friday weekday programming block (3-5 p.m.). Each Grand Prize winner also will get a Xipster FreeStyle stop-motion software package to keep their creative juices flowing and produce more mini-movies. Additionally, 100 first prize moviemakers will win the Xipster FreeStyle animation software to also create their own productions. To be eligible to win in the Kids’ WB! Make A Mini Mucha Movie Contest, viewers will need to tune-in to Kids’ WB!'s Saturday morning lineup (8 a.m. – 12 p.m. ET / 7-11 a.m. PT) and learn how to download the Xipster FreeStyle stop-motion software from www.KidsWB.com. This unique software will allow kids to develop their own “mucha mini-movie” with characters, scenes, backgrounds, props, sound effects and music, as well a handy tutorial that will help kids get started on their animated creations. Parents will be required to enter their kids’ creative inventions in this exciting contest via online at www.KidsWB.com. Kids’ WB! will showcase all mini-movies, which will be uploaded and available for screening, at www.KidsWB.com. Get ready to get creative and spark your imagination this summer!
